Lava launches Shark 2 4G smartphone for entry segment buyers in India

India’s homegrown smartphone maker Lava on Monday (October 27, 2025) launched the Shark 2 4G smartphone for entry segment buyers in India. The new Lava Shark 2 4G comes with Android 15 with one Android and 2 years of security updates.

The Shark 2 4G has a 6.75 inch HD+ notch display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. It is IP54 rated for dust and water resistance.

Lava has used a 5,000 mAh battery in the Shark 2 4G with a 10W Type-C charger included in the box. It supports up to an 18W charger.

The Lava Shark 2 run on an octa core Unisoc T7250 processor with 4 GB RAM AND 64 GB storage. It supports 4 GB virtual RAM.

Lava Shark 2 4G sports a 50 MP rear camera and an 8 MP selfie camera.

The Lava Shark 2 4G comes in Eclipse Grey and Aurora Gold colours and will be available at ₹6,999 across all retail stores.
